Teresa Moreno | 2x Scholarship Recipient
Meet Teresa, one of our 2020 and 2021 Bags of Love Foundation Scholarship Winners!! She is an extraordinary young woman who was diagnosed with a Pleomorphic Renal Sarcoma tumor next to one of her kidneys at the age of 5. She is finishing her freshman year at UCLA as a Pre-Med student pursuing a Bachelor’s in Molecular, Cellular, and Development Biology to go into Med School. Her goal is to be an oncologist and help families at Valley Children’s Hospital, where she was treated. She is involved with many organizations like The American Cancer Society and is driven to give back to her community, where she’s seen as a school/community leader. We are looking forward to seeing her achieve all her dreams and goals.
